100 FREE 3D Printers
For Dallas-Fort Worth Schools

After donating over 250,000 PPE components to the DFW community, Unique Software Development is offering 100 Creality Ender 3 Pro 3D printers to qualifying schools in partnership with the Mark Cuban Foundation, the Woodrow Wilson RoboCats and The Workshop by TBK Bank.

After a successful first round last Fall, we have re-opened applications for a second round this Spring.

Grant Application​

Our 3D printers used in the #makercause philanthropy effort have been cleaned up and professionally refurbished so we can donate them to 100 qualifying schools throughout DFW and North Texas.

Our grant application comprises of some basic information about your school, your intended use of the 3D printer and how you’ll encourage interest in STEM learning.

Our committee of educators and business leaders will judge all applicants based on a 100 point rubric and announce the grant awardees starting the week of February 21st, 2021.

Grant Award Notification

To be awarded the grant, you’ll be required to attest that you have the support of your school and attend a 3-hour safety and training session during February 2021.

These training sessions will follow proper COVID safety protocols and all attendees will be required to have their temperature checked and to wear a face covering at all times.

The Workshop by TBK Bank will be hosting morning and afternoon workshops in their brand new, 19,000 square foot facility.

Technical training will be provided by the coaching staff, professional mentors and student members of the Woodrow Wilson Robocats.

Attendees will learn how to safely operate 3D printers along with the basics of 3D modeling and CAD.

We know just how busy the life of educators can be, so we only ask for:

  • Photo updates at the 6 month mark to let us know what you’ve made.
  • A 1-page summary on the success of your effort in using 3D printing to raise awareness and interest in STEM learning at the 1 year mark.
