We are excited to partner with schools and teachers around DFW and North Texas to equip them with 3D printers and the skills and ideas to necessary to utilize them to inspire students.
As demonstrated by Unique Software Development‘s manufacturing of PPE throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, 3D printing can immediately impact the world and our hope is that these machines will allow you to encourage your students to make similar impacts through pursuing STEM/STEAM-related futures.
The grant application will help the project partners identify schools with a need who have teacher and campus commitment to put the 3D printer to use in their classrooms this school year and beyond to benefit students, their campus, and eventually their communities. A year-end report will be required to demonstrate how the printer was used and how many students were impacted by its use. Finally, a Spring 2021 reunion “Demo Day” at The Workshop by TBK Bank that could include teachers, students, and others is also a possibility depending on the current health guidelines at that time.
To be considered for this grant, you must complete and submit the application form and have availability for a 3-hour pickup & training session, as shown below.
